Directions
prepare the steak: heat a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil and butter. cook the steak for 2-3 minutes per side over medium-high heat for a rare doneness. add salt, pepper, and, if desired, spices like rosemary or thyme.
wash and prepare the base: wash the iceberg lettuce leaves and place them as a base in a bowl or on a plate.
cut the cherry tomatoes: wash the mixed cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. arrange them over the lettuce.
complete the dish: add whole almonds and pumpkin seeds as toppings for a crunchy touch.
assemble and serve: place the steak on top of the lettuce and tomatoes, finishing with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. serve immediately.
