  1. Whole grain bread

  2. Fresh arugula

  3. Mozzarella

  4. Prosciutto crudo

  5. Cherry or datterino tomatoes

  6. Extra virgin olive oil

  7. Oregano and various spices

Directions

1.Prepare the ingredients:

  • Wash and dry the arugula.

  • Slice the cherry tomatoes in half or into rounds.

  • Drain the mozzarella and slice it thinly.

2.Assemble the sandwich:

  • Cut the whole grain bread in half (if not already sliced).

  • Place a layer of arugula on the bottom half of the bread.

  • Add the slices of mozzarella on top of the arugula.

  • Lay the slices of prosciutto crudo on top of the mozzarella.

  • Finish with the sliced tomatoes.

3.Season:

  • Sprinkle with oregano or Mediterranean herbs of your choice.

  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

  • Season with black pepper and a pinch of salt, if necessary.

4.Serve:

  • Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread and serve immediately to enjoy the freshness of the ingredients.
